Debbie Steingesser, E-RYT 500, is an inspired Vinyasa Flow Yoga teacher and is also the creator of Dansa Vinyasa ™. Common Ground Magazine recently named Debbie “An Exceptional Bay Area Yoga Teacher” for her dynamic and innovative teaching style. Debbie’s heart opening Vinyasa classes are infused with musicality and breath awareness. Her unique playlists, nurturing adjustments, and sweet savasana lullabies connect students to their inner sense of joy and rhythm. Debbie’s classes unite the practice of yoga with living authentically. Dansa Vinyasa ™ is her original blend of Flow Yoga, Traditional West African Dance, Kirtan, and Live African Percussion. Debbie has led Dansa Vinyasa workshops at a variety of studios and conferences including: Bhakti Fest, Earthdance, Harmony Festival, and the New Living Expo. Debbie is certified with Yoga Alliance at the 500-hour level through Saul David Raye and the Ritam School of Healing Arts. She has also completed trainings with Baron Baptiste, Seane Corn, Rod Stryker, and Erich Schiffmann. Debbie continues her studies of yoga, kirtan and West African dance with her mentors Jai Uttal, Dana Flynn, Baxter Bell, Denise Kaufman, and Alseny Soumah.

AcroYoga Playground with Amy Impellizzeri & Daniel Scott

Amy is versed in many disciplines with AcroYoga being her primary inspiration. After acquiring her BA in Dance from the University of Oregon, she taught contact improvisation, dance, and technical theatre skills in the department for seven years. Concurrently, Amy was performing and teaching in Oregon, Mexico, and Switzerland. During this time Amy began her Ashtanga yoga studies, receiving her training with Manju Jois and Sri K. Pattabhi Jois. While teaching in Santa Cruz, California for many years she attained her certification in AcroYoga and currently teaches on-going classes in Santa Cruz, Los Gatos, San Jose, Pacific Grove as well as workshops worldwide. Amy, an avid climber and surfer, knows the importance of a strong, supported core, teaches core conditioning classes weekly and is currently working on a core conditioning book.
Daniel Scott is yogi chocolatier and community innovator offering a fresh alternative to the traditional “yoga voice”. A globally renowned AcroYoga and Vinyasa teacher living in San Francisco, Daniel is the Chief Marketing Officer for FEARLESS Chocolate, the world’s most delicious manufacturer of organic superchocolate. In addition to being a Wellness Expert for MindBodyGreen.com, he also champions digital change as a social media strategist for Authentic.ly. Daniel enjoys good coffee, barefoot running, street art, partner acrobatics, large quantities, and great qualities.

Yoga Slacklining with YogaSlacker Ron Avitzur
After decades as a sedentary computer programmer, Ron discovered yoga and slacklining. Ron has been teaching yoga since 2009 and is a certified YogaSlacker. He loves slacklining in the park watching folks fall down and giggle. He is a practiced acroyoga base slowly overcoming his fear of flying, and a rock climber working on his fear of heights. He loves teaching people to walk on ropes and fly on friends.


Company C Contemporary Dancer Calvin Thomas and former San Francisco Ballet dancer Ashley Muangmaithong will perform the central pas de deux from the ballet SanVean, a meditative ballet inspired by the teachings of the Buddha and ritual dances among a community of people. Choreography by David Van Ligon of Company C Contemporary Ballet.
Yoga, Music, Food, FUNdraising, Marketplace, Raffle, Participant Gift Bags and More! There is a $25 registration fee (or $47 registration option which includes a fabulous buffet from BoilerHouse Restaurant) and each participant must raise a minimum of $250, however, we hope that you will stretch to make a difference for Children's Hospital & Research Center Oakland and Africa Yoga Project and raise as much as possible. Our goal is to raise $250,000 dollars. Your success in exceeding the $250 fundraising minimum will help us get there.

The BoilerHouse restaurant sits adjacent to the Craneway Pavilion, and is set among the back drop of original historic equipment of the Ford Assembly Plant and stunning Bay Views. Patrons enjoy fresh, local, seasonal fare, made from scratch, using organic ingredients when possible, prepared with creativity and presented in style. Executive chef Paul Despotakis.
• Mixed Green Salad ‐ Seasonal Greens, Spinach, Bell Pepper, Sunflower Seeds, Carrots, Broccoli and Cabbage served with Lemon Flax Vinaigrette Dressing
